To create search engine friendly links on Miva Merchant webstores hosted on Apache servers, we use the Mod_Rewrite function in a .htaccess file. To create search engine friendly links on Miva Merchant webstores hosted on Windows servers, you will use ISAPI filters.
The coding of the file/filter is very similar to that used in the .htaccess file.

I haven't used it (as none of my clients are hosted on Windows servers) but it seems to mirror the commands of Apache's Mod_Rewrite. If so, it would just be a matter of installing the software on the server and then creating the equivalent of a .htaccess file.
